Here’s a brief overview of what to expect from your visits with us at Back To Action Chiropractic.

1st Visit - Initial Consultation (30-40 minutes)

The objective of your 1st visit is to find out what is wrong and how chiropractic can help.

The 1st visit will start by you filling out some paperwork. The next stage is to take a full history of your problem in which you will be asked about your problems and general health. This will then be followed by an examination which includes neurological testing, orthopaedic testing and chiropractic testing. We will arrange your 2nd visit for within a couple of days of the first.

2nd Visit - Report of Findings (30-40 minutes)
In this visit we will explain what has been found in the initial consultation and how we feel we can help. We will use anatomical models and diagrams to discuss findings and how chiropractic can resolve these issues. We will then discuss with you a personal schedule of care to fit your condition and circumstances. Your 1st chiropractic adjustment will also be given on this visit.

If we feel that chiropractic care is not the correct treatment option or that further investigation is needed then a referral will be given to another medical practitioner.

Adjustment Appointments (10 minutes)
All of your following visits will be called ‘Adjustments’. These will involve adjustments to the spine and joints of the body which are found to be causing the problems you are suffering from. Each chiropractic adjustment will build on the previous one, so it is important to stick to the schedule of care that has been recommended. Home exercises and home advice will also be given in these visits to compliment the adjustments.

We are covered by most major health insurance companies including AXA PPP, BUPA, AVIVA, PRU and SIMPLY HEALTH. Please contact us to find out if you would be covered.
